One of the highlights of my career! To have been able to record an album with my absolute favourite band during perhaps the darkest period of our lives was a massive boost for me.

I've been a huge fan of The Jets ever since seeing them on Top Of The Pops back in the early 1980's. I've collected their records and go to see them play as often as I can and now I'm proud to have not only worked with them but call them friends! And very good friends at that.

Another slap of hot Bop available only on vinyl - The A side was written especially for The Boozinstoke Rockin' Fraternity; crazy Rockabilly types that frequent The Royal Oak public house in Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK. I'm a huge fan of Ricky Nelson and have been ever since I can remember - which is a long time in doggie years. The original version of this album was released in 2004 but in 2015, I decided to re-record the whole album and add 3 bonus tracks. Steve Webb, from The Roomates, added backing vocals on a number of songs in order to give a more authentic Jordanaires vibe and the whole album is 13 trillion times better than the original. And you get three extra tracks and a photo of me on the front cover looking suave and sophisticated. This is one of my personal favourites from all the albums I've ever made over the years.

Back in 1992, I spent 6 months living and working in the US with The Kelly Four - Eddie Cochran's last road band. It was a great honour working with these guys and we performed a few gigs - 2 at The Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa - as well as recording an album's worth of, mainly, Eddie Cochran classics. Included on this album are 2 interviews with myself and Jim Stivers.

This was released back in 2004 and was recorded onto a Fostex 8-track reel to reel M80 tape machine with matching 450 desk. It was recorded on a farm in Kingsclere, where Foot Tapping Records rented a room and we turned it into a recording studio and quite a few albums were recorded there. I've always liked this album. It has a vibe to it that pleases me. Jools Holland liked this album and often played tracks from it on his radio show after it was released. Which, I have to say, was very nice of him.
